These were taken in Mercer County NJ in a small stream less then a mile from the Delaware River. They have a pretty range up and down the east coast from Tennessee to Ontario. I usually find them in small cold water streams

Where were these pics taken? Like what's the range of this particular species? Very great pictures!

Surprisingly enough I was using the camera phone on my Droid Bionic. It's an 8 megapixel camera. It's great for close up shots and medium range pictures.
