Apparently, the suggestions from the thread are gone, but the OP sums it up well in the post that we do have:
'Thanks to all for your advice. The crays survived the roadtrip, 24 hours away from their home, and were transferred to a happy tank. I put them each in plastic containers, with about .5" of their tank water, lids cracked open, and a 2" piece of romaine lettuce to munch on. One even molted during the trip. All are well. Thanks!
