Cave to my crayfish

I make a cave to my crayfish:

I did the whole cave and then glued glass stones around, inside.





The cap is loosened for facilitating maintenance can withdraw Crawfish, etc.. They have locks that do not move or come out with the movement of the crayfish.



I put the stones inside because if I want to put one over the other I can do this without problems.



They are still too small for her but I already thinking ahead.

That is an awesome idea! Did you use acrylic or is that glass? I would love to do something like that...

Hello, I used glass.
Even put in the aquarium as well as said they are calm. Almost no fight and only "peck" when end up meeting in fright. I believe it is because the aquarium is still great for them, there are 13 gallons for six crayfish.
The aquarium also has a lot of woods and stones where they are circling. I put the pipes but almost never are, very difficult indeed. - 16 gallons divided would be fine in my opinion.
- Keeping the crawfish together just to breed is a good idea. After they breed, it would be a good idea to separate them as you've indicated.
- Your ability to sex them will improve as their size increases. If you need help, post some pictures and I can try to help you out. As far as the rate at which they grow, I think it all depends on their diet, water hardness, iodine, etc.
- I think to determine which ones are growing fastest, you just have to be patient if you can't really tell whose shell it is.
