Just heard on the news last night about a big cray. I'm not sure if it was from Pennsylvania(sp) or New Jersey but the believe it was at least a 100yr old Cray. Ready for the measurements.... 4 1/2 foot long, that’s 54" !!! 14 1/2lbs or a little over 6 kilos!!! WOW

Some species can get quite big! The ones in Australia get as big as lobsters!

Some species can also get quite old. The cave crayfish Orconectes australis gets super old. Check out this article: http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2007/09/new-troglobites/new-troglobites-text

The Orconectes australis crayfish of Shelta Cave in Alabama may reproduce at 100 years, and live to 175
